Carpe Diem

Since I became a father of two wonderful children, the time for carp fishing has of course become a bit tight. So it was over with long sessions where you could try something or leave the bait for 24 to 48 hours. So I had to come up with a new plan. My fishing is now limited to short sessions or the occasional overnighter. Of course, I also had to change my baits and tactics .

From now on, boilies were only soaked or tapped. As a bait I prefer to use a snowman with a bright popup on it on an uncomplicated "blowback" rig or sometimes a multirig if I'm only fishing with popup.

Of course, what should not be missing is a PVA mesh filled with a stick mix. With each ejection I feed a maximum of 10 to 15 Boilies . So far my tactics aren't going too badly, so in that sense "carp(e) diem" on the water.
